Bob, Mark and Rob at the Cycle Show in London
Shot over to London for 5 days. Back in the hometown for the first time in ages. Don't kill me but we flew Ryan Air from Bremen to Stanstead. I know it's not really politically correct to pay more for the bus ride to the airport than the flight, but it worked surprisingly well. They are efficient, on time and somehow must make some money. After a short bus ride with our guilty conscience we arrived in the the biggest pulsating trendy capital of the world, probably - and we couldn't get something to eat at 10:30 at night! Now i know why i love european cities like Berlin where everything is open. And the famous "Last Orders" is also still in use, so drink fast! It's all here.....more

USED has always been a strong supporter of the IFMA the business bike show. But the IFMA has lost a lot of ground to the Eurobike over the last 5 years. So this IFMA was the last one. Eurobike-plan
"The same procedure as every year" was an old comedy sketch, but this motto is only good for one more year. Next year there will be no IFMA, this makes the Eurobike the biggest and best Bike Show in the world. USED is off to Friedrichshafen for the Eurobike and then 2 weeks later we will be in Cologne for the last IFMA (sob!).
We've got lots of new stuff with us. The first Single-Speed series in co-operation with Allegro - Australia will have their first showing at the Eurobike and IFMA. Our new CargoRack, which is a good alternative for people wanting to shop and haul with a bike. Big news is also the first prototype of the CarryFreedom "PaperBike", designed by Nick Lobnitz, this bike is going to turn some heads. You have to see this bike....
Of course we wouldn't be USED if we didn't have a few gadgets to show you. This year it's the Wisecracker? It's a bottle opener that fits on your seat post or as a spacer on your headset. It opens that bottle of cool liquid. made by Ahrens Bikes in the USA, this is indeed a major contribution to the bicycle world. To celebrate the Cactus10 bikes we have some new t-shirts as well.
Ok, so get over to that trade show, either Friedrichshafen or Cologne and get busy being USED. Bob has some new glasses and he may recognise you now...

Straight after the Eurobike USED headed down to
the IFMA in Cologne. On Wednesday Bob, Dan, Jens (von Bandee) and Andreas
(our new Sales Rep) were at the press conference to show the Bandee and the
BiGBOY-bikes in Starshot design. This got a huge response and some of the
newspapers were full of pictures on the next day. Bandee was also featured
in an article from the biggest news magazine in Germany Der Spiegel. Daniela
was filmed in Starshot shirt riding a BiGBOY with a Bandee as well, for NTV
and RTL TV stations. So that means the USED-Team was in all the media and

USED finally returned to their headquasters in good ol' Quakenbrück after a week on Lake Constance at the Eurobike. We met a lot of cool people and spread the USED word around! Enjoy this fast and furious review of the biggest Bike Show on earth.
